Boss: A Brave Boy Ready to Discover the World

Boss is a sweet and handsome male French Bulldog cross, who is approximately 18 months old. He came into our care from the inspectors, having previously lived in a multi-dog household of over 40 dogs and cats. Because of this, Boss had very little exposure to the outside world. However, he has always been friendly right from the start, even if he was a little nervous and unsure of things when he first arrived.

He has since proven himself to be an incredibly adaptable boy, gaining confidence quickly with our guidance. He now enjoys going for walks immensely, although he can still get a little spooked by new, unfamiliar objects he comes across. Boss is a very good boy in his kennel and is calm and well-behaved when traveling in the car. Due to his past, he may need some patient guidance with housetraining and with getting used to the differing sounds of a typical home, like washing machines and vacuum cleaners.

He doesn’t know any basic commands but is highly food motivated, which will be a great help with his training! Boss is best suited to an experienced dog owner who has the time and patience to give him additional positive, reward-based training. He could possibly live with secondary-age children, but he is to be rehomed as an only dog.
