Kona
Kona is a two-year-old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier crossbreed. She is about the size of a small Labrador and is a firm favorite with all of our dog walkers. She is such a gorgeous-natured girl. When she first arrived, she was a tiny bit nervous being in a new environment, but it didn’t take her long to come out of her shell.
She is friendly, affectionate, and thrives on attention and love. She is generally very good and calm on her lead. While she is fine passing dogs who aren’t reactive, she can be barky if they initiate an interaction. Kona is a very smart girl and already knows commands like sit, paw, and stay..
Regarding her health, Kona has shown evidence of hip dysplasia, which was identified on X-rays. This does not cause her any issues at present, and she is not showing any clinical signs. Dogs with this condition can live long, happy, and healthy lives if their adopters manage the condition appropriately.
More information will be provided upon making enquiries, but generally speaking, she would benefit from being walked on a lead with moderate exercise on even ground. It is also important to keep her in a lean to normal body condition. Kona is to be rehomed as an only dog and could possibly live with older children.
