Charity Status Change

We are pleased to announce that on 1st April 2026 our branch changed its legal status from an unincorporated charity to a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), with a new charity number of 1215084.  It represents a key step in modernising our governance framework. The important thing is that nothing is changing in what we do or how we do it, and every animal coming in to us will receive the care, attention and second chance that they deserve, just the same as always.  The CIO is now the data controller, although for an interim period, the existing branch and the CIO will co-exist as we work through the process of informing all relevant parties.  If you have used our services before, rest assured your personal data is still protected in exactly the same way; it has simply been transferred over to the new CIO.  Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

Bruno

Meet Bruno, a compact, handsome, two-year-old pocket rocket who is ready to find his forever family! He sadly came into our care through no fault of his own when his previous owner’s circumstances changed, meaning they had to work longer hours and Bruno was increasingly being left alone at home.

Bruno is a friendly, boisterous, and affectionate boy who absolutely loves attention. If you have a hand free for belly rubs, Bruno will gladly be your best friend for life. He is incredibly playful, loves his toys, and has a great adventurous spirit, meaning he is always excited to get out and explore the big wide world with you.

Because he is still young and full of life, Bruno is rather excitable and would benefit from some ongoing basic training. Don’t let his compact size fool you—he is a strong little powerhouse who can pull on the lead when he’s eager to explore, so he will need a handler who can help guide his enthusiasm. When encountering other dogs on his walks, he can sometimes bark, but this is purely down to his giddiness and excitement to see them.He is already crate-trained and is perfectly fine being left on his own for short periods. We feel Bruno would thrive best as the only dog in the home, where he can soak up all the love and attention for himself. If you are looking for a wonderful new best friend to bring a burst of happiness into your life, Bruno might just be your perfect match!
