Charity Status Change

We are pleased to announce that on 1st April 2026 our branch changed its legal status from an unincorporated charity to a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), with a new charity number of 1215084.  It represents a key step in modernising our governance framework. The important thing is that nothing is changing in what we do or how we do it, and every animal coming in to us will receive the care, attention and second chance that they deserve, just the same as always.  The CIO is now the data controller, although for an interim period, the existing branch and the CIO will co-exist as we work through the process of informing all relevant parties.  If you have used our services before, rest assured your personal data is still protected in exactly the same way; it has simply been transferred over to the new CIO.  Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

Wallis, George and Simpson

Please let me introduce you to Wallis (F), Simpson (F) and George (M). This delightful three month old trio came from a multi cat household at the beginning of June.

Thanks to the RSPCA Inspectors and foster care they are now full of energy and enthusiasm.

Simpson is more shy than her siblings in her relationship with humans. She has become more trusting over time and we are sure that once settled she will be as affectionate as her siblings.  She loves playing and chasing Wallis and George, but will also entertain herself with the toys available. In particular she loves her ‘Tower Tracks’ toy and napping in her indoor tent.

Wallis is particularly fond of playing with George, they both love climbing and any other mischief that comes their way. Balls and crinkle toys are their favourites, with wands and laser toys a close second.

All three love their food. They use their litter boxes well.

As with most kittens , they are too busy to be lap cats at this point in time, but George and Wallis will come for cuddles and snuggle up next to you when they are tired out from play. Simpson keeps her own counsel currently but, like the other two, loves treats and will take them from your hand. They also love chilling in their cat tree.

They will be fabulous companions, they are in foster care with adult cats and are not phased.

Once settled, these kittens will like access to a secure garden away from busy roads.

They will be available for re homing early August, once they are fully vaccinated, neutered, flead, wormed and microchipped.
