Sadie
Sadie is a young, small female Lurcher, between 1 and 2 years old, who came into our care from the inspectors. Unfortunately, we do not have any background information on her. She is a little larger than a Whippet.
Sadie is a wonderfully good-natured and instantly friendly girl. She is affectionate and loves to give face-kisses and shower you with attention. Sadie has bundles of youthful energy! She loves her walks and is curious about the outside world.
As we believe Sadie hasn’t had the best start, she is a complete blank slate regarding commands—she doesn’t appear to know any commands at all. This is an exciting opportunity for an owner to start fresh! Sadie must go to a home committed to engaging her bright mind with fun, consistent, positive, reward-based training.
While she enjoys exploring, she can be rather bouncy, excitable, and vocal when passing dogs close by. She will need ongoing socialization and management training in this area.
Sadie is looking for a dedicated home that understands the needs of a young, active Lurcher. She requires frequent, energetic walks and play sessions to keep her happy and well-balanced. She would absolutely love to have safe, open spaces where she can run free, if that is possible for her new family. She is to be rehomed as an only dog. Due to her breed, we think it is advisable to rehome her without any cats or small furries. Sadie could possibly live with older, dog-savvy children aged 10 and above, provided they are comfortable with her youthful bounciness.
In summary: Sadie is a sweet, blank canvas bursting with potential. She needs an active, patient owner ready to commit to positive training and lots of affection. The reward will be an incredibly loyal and loving companion!
