Six month old Scout is bubbling with personality! Like her namesake from the novel To Kill A Mockingbird, she’s very inquisitive. She’s very playful, and loves chasing a silver foil ball or a spring around – she’ll usually bring them to you so that you can throw them for her. Her favourite game is for you to drag some string along the floor so that she can ambush it from under the bed. She actually shows you how she wants you to play with her, it’s so funny! Then when she’s tired herself out and is ready to rest she’ll come and headbutt you, purring away and settling down on your lap.

Scout’s full of a fighting spirit. She came into our care at around eight weeks old in a very poor state, as light as a feather and virtually skin and bone. She was separated from her siblings and placed in isolation on a drip due to her being very dehydrated. She experienced some digestive issues and for a while was on a special diet, but she’s doing so well now that we’ve been able to slowly change her over to a normal Royal Canin kitten food diet (wet and dry) on which she’s well settled. She might have completely grown out of her digestive issues, however there is a potential that they could recur and we would advise that whoever adopts this little delight keeps her on a consistent diet and routine.

Scout would almost certainly love to have either a young feline friend or a human playmate to keep her entertained, and lots of space to burn off some of her energy. As Scout is so enthusiastic when she plays, we think the children in the home need to be of secondary school age. She’s looking for an understanding and loving family to call her own. She’s ready and waiting ….. are you?
