Charity Status Change

We are pleased to announce that on 1st April 2026 our branch changed its legal status from an unincorporated charity to a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), with a new charity number of 1215084.  It represents a key step in modernising our governance framework. The important thing is that nothing is changing in what we do or how we do it, and every animal coming in to us will receive the care, attention and second chance that they deserve, just the same as always.  The CIO is now the data controller, although for an interim period, the existing branch and the CIO will co-exist as we work through the process of informing all relevant parties.  If you have used our services before, rest assured your personal data is still protected in exactly the same way; it has simply been transferred over to the new CIO.  Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

From stray to sensational, Smudge’s rags-to-riches story is officially complete—and now he’s looking for his forever home!

When Smudge first arrived, he was a bit grubby, bedraggled, and in need of some vet TLC (including initial dental care). Fast forward to today, and this 4-year-old black-and-white boy has transformed into a total superstar looking downright magnificent. ✨

About Smudge:

  • Age & Look: 4 years old, handsome Black & White 🖤🤍
  • Personality: Playful, friendly, and deeply affectionate.
  • Favorite Activity: Bedtime snuggles! He loves sleeping right alongside his human every night.
  • Good with Other Cats: Yes! He’s been living happily alongside his foster buddy, Sushi.
  • Health: Fully neutered, vaccinated, flea and worm treated, and his dental work is all sorted!

Smudge has put his street-life days behind him and is ready for cozy beds, endless playtime, and a loving warm home.
