Charity Status Change

We are pleased to announce that on 1st April 2026 our branch changed its legal status from an unincorporated charity to a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), with a new charity number of 1215084.  It represents a key step in modernising our governance framework. The important thing is that nothing is changing in what we do or how we do it, and every animal coming in to us will receive the care, attention and second chance that they deserve, just the same as always.  The CIO is now the data controller, although for an interim period, the existing branch and the CIO will co-exist as we work through the process of informing all relevant parties.  If you have used our services before, rest assured your personal data is still protected in exactly the same way; it has simply been transferred over to the new CIO.  Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

Princess

RESERVED

Princess is a petite and incredibly sweet-natured French Bulldog who is approximately three years old.  Since arriving in our care, she has proven to be a truly affectionate companion who is friendly to everyone she meets. She walks beautifully on the lead and, despite being a Frenchie, she is quite the adventurer and enjoys walking a fair distance. Because she is generally calm and social around other dogs, she could potentially live with a canine companion, provided that introductions at the center are successful.

While Princess is a joy to be around, she does have a few specific needs that her new owners will need to support. She currently finds car travel quite stressful and tends to pant during journeys, so she would benefit from a patient owner willing to help build her confidence with short, positive trips. Additionally, Princess has a somewhat sensitive stomach and is thriving on a high-quality hypoallergenic diet. Her adopters will need to be committed to continuing this feeding regimen to keep her feeling her best. As with all Frenchies, it is important to remember that she doesn’t require excessive exercise, and special care must be taken to keep her cool and comfortable during hot weather. This lovely girl is now ready to find a sofa to call her own and a family to shower with her signature affection.
